What is the attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire is kindly requested for all of our events. For gentlemen, a suit is perfect - with or without a tie. For ladies, a knee-length or floor-length dress is ideal.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Parking is available at both St. Thomas More Catholic Church and The Umstead Hotel & Spa for your convenience.

How do I enter the Umstead Hotel and Spa?

Answer

As you arrive, you’ll find an entrance on the left side of the building, conveniently located near the dog park. If you choose to enter through the main entrance, please turn left and walk down the hallway toward the glass heron sculpture. Once you reach the heron, turn left, then right to continue down the hallway, where you will find the alternate entrance to the reception venue. Should you need assistance with directions, the front desk at The Umstead Hotel & Spa will be happy to assist.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Kindly visit the ‘RSVP’ page on our website to submit your details. Once you enter your First and Last name, all of your guest names in your party will appear. You’ll also be asked to select an entrée option for each member of your party.

Will there be transportation from the church to the reception venue?

Answer

Please note that transportation will be provided exclusively for members of the wedding party.

What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

After the church ceremony and before the wedding reception at The Umstead Hotel, you’ll have a two-hour break. This is a great opportunity to check into your hotel, grab a coffee, or enjoy a drink at the lobby bar. If you’d prefer to relax, there are cozy seating areas around the hotel where you can unwind before the evening’s celebration.
