It all began on November 5, 2017, a seemingly ordinary Sunday — but God had something extraordinary planned. That day, we both happened to be at the same church, unknowingly brought together by faith, fate, and a little divine orchestration. It was also Jean's mom’s 47th birthday, which now feels like more than just a coincidence — as if her mom had already given her blessing from above, guiding Jean to meet someone special that day. As it turns out, Daniel’s sister, Angelica, and Jean’s brother, GJ, were classmates at UTS. Small world, right? Once Daniel realised the connection, his interest in Jean quickly turned into a hopeful pursuit. The very next day, he sent her a Facebook invite, which Jean accepted — but only after confirming with her Kuya GJ that he indeed knew "this guy." 😂 Daniel’s opening move? A simple wave on Messenger. Jean waved back. And just like that, a conversation bloomed — one that has never truly ended. From that day on, they've been each other’s best friend, partner, and favorite person. They celebrated seven beautiful years together last March 2025, and back in October 2024, Daniel got down on one knee and asked the easiest question Jean ever had to answer. Now, as they look ahead to May 2, 2026, they’re preparing to say "I do," marking eight incredible years filled with shared faith, laughter, long conversations, deep understanding, growth and steady love.
