Jean and Bryant first crossed paths in 2015 as freshmen at the University of Pittsburgh, living on the same dorm floor but barely knowing each other. Aside from the unforgettable moment where Jean spotted Bryant hanging Christmas lights in his dorm room. A year later, they ended up at a Pirates game with a group of friends, and they quickly grew close. They spent the entire summer before junior year texting, and as soon as they returned back to campus, Bryant asked Jean out to her favorite Asian restaurant in Oakland. Not long after that first date, they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. After graduation, they spent a few years navigating long distance, staying connected despite the miles. Eventually, they decided to start the next chapter side by side and moved to Florida together. The past three years, they have been happily building a life in St. Pete. Then, in April of 2025, Bryant secretly planned a proposal with the help of both of their families over Easter weekend. With everyone in on the surprise, he popped the question and Jean, said yes!
