We do not have a registry and are kindly requesting no gifts. Joining us to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary is an incredible gift for us. Just please bring your best dance moves and wittiest banter.

Who is Gritty and why do Jean and Alex love him?

Answer

Gritty is the Philadelphia Flyers mascot, a zealous and absurd orange beast. In a city known for the "Meanest Sports Fans in America," Gritty made his debut in 2018 and Philadelphia recoiled. But as non-Philly folks began to poke fun at Gritty, Philly changed it's tune to embrace this Sesame Street nightmare monster as their own. "No one likes us, we don't care!"
