FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jea Choi and Jason Park
Question

RSVP deadline

Answer

Please RSVP by Saturday, February 24th, 2026.

Question

Dress code

Answer

There is no formal dress code. Please wear what you feel comfortable in. We only ask that guests avoid ivory or white.

Question

Bringing plus-one or kids

Answer

All partners and children are warmly welcome. If you plan to bring a guest or children, please include their names (and children’s ages) when you RSVP so we can plan seating and meals accordingly.

Question

Parking

Answer

Parking is available behind Tresidder Union, the reception venue. Parking is free on weekends. We recommend parking there as it is a short walk to the church and very close to the reception. You can easily find the parking lot on map apps by searching for ‘Tresidder Parking Lot.’

Question

Ceremony time and guest arrival

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. Guests are welcome to enter the church starting at 3:30 p.m.

Question

Unplugged Ceremony

Answer

During the ceremony, we kindly ask that you keep your phones and devices put away. Our photographer will capture every special moment, so please relax and be fully present. This helps maintain the sacred atmosphere and ensures everyone can enjoy the experience without distractions. Thank you for respecting this request.

Question

Food allergies or special requests

Answer

If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP. There will be space to write details, and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs with the caterer.

Question

Are there cultural customs to know?

Answer

Our wedding blends Korean and Western traditions. The ceremony will be Western style, with no traditional Korean greeting before the ceremony. The reception follows Korean customs, focusing on a dinner celebration without a DJ or dance floor, creating a warm and respectful atmosphere for all guests.

Question

What is a group photo?

Answer

We will take a group photo right after the ceremony. Please kindly stay until we sign the paperwork and then return to the church for the photo. In Korean weddings, it is common to take multiple group photos organized by work colleagues, friends, family, and other groups, which is a special way to celebrate together. We look forward to this meaningful moment with you.

Question

Gifts

Answer

We want you to enjoy and celebrate our new beginning, so no gifts are necessary. However, if you wish to contribute, we have set up an Amazon gift card registry. As we are moving after our wedding, we are trying to minimize items to move, so we appreciate your understanding.
