We’re getting married!

Our Love story isn’t a fairytale or In like Romantic movie scene, but I think that we are really meant to be together. Derrick and I met through his cousin, while he was visiting here in Texas. When I met derrick, I didn’t really think much of him. He wasn't really my type and I don’t think I’m his type either. We starting to talk to each other and he invited me to go out with him and his cousins. Then it all started, he asked me out to be his girlfriend before he goes back to Chicago. After couple months of a long distance relationship it did not work out for us. Then that same year of 2018 he moved to Texas, then he never heard from me or seen me in two years. Then on his birthday on April 2018. I greeted him a happy birthday on FB messenger and he invited me to hang out with him and his family. Then our love started again, this time I am the one who asked him out and wanted to be with him, and he said Yes. From then on, we could never be apart ❤️

A couple days before my birthday. On December 15, 2018, derrick told me that he already got a gift for me for my 30th birthday. Well if anyone know me I will not stop until I find out what is it. I kept asking him for a hint. He keep telling me "you will like it I promise". But everyone knows that derrick is not a romantic guy. I have no idea that he was going to propose to me that day. So before it happened, On Dec. 15th, I was running errands and run around finishing up for Christmas presents. That night we were supposed to go for an "Romantic Dinner". Did not I know he is planning something big. But something Happened at home. This is how it happened. We are actually fighting that day about something, I was being a brat and I left him in our apartment and came back home, then he asked me to calm down because I was being a brat like always. So I did! then he asked me do you wanna see your gift?, I said, ofcourse! I have been waiting for it to see what it is so special about this gift. He said "close your eyes" He went in the bedroom and got something, "he said open your eyes" so I did there it was a black small box with a ring on it. Then, he asked me "Will you Marry me?" ofcourse I said "YES" with tears in my eyes. and I asked, him even if I am being a brat all the time you will still marry me!?. He said Yes and smiled back, and said " I love you"
