This is a beautiful hiking spot with easy/moderate trails and pretty views. Trails can be rocky so bring good hiking shoes! Highly recommended!
This is a state park very close to Dennis Hill. There is a fee to enter if you are out of state. ($10.00 Weekdays, $15.00 Weekends) They have a lake with a beach, picnic tables, hiking trails, and a beautiful river to fish in! They also have paddleboard, kayak, and canoe rentals. :)
A great spot for hiking in Hamden! I grew up hiking here. :) They have a large variety of trails, a pretty river, and an area with picnic tables.

My favorite cocktail bar in New Haven! It is very intimate and cozy, great for a date night! They have amazing craft cocktails!! There's not too much seating available so you may want to make a reservation.
Craft cocktail bar in New Haven where I used to work! It was originally New Haven's first inn and George Washington stayed there! It is very intimate with beautiful restored original woodwork and amazing cocktails. It gets crowed on the weekends so I would make a reservation or be prepared to try and squeeze in the bar area. :) Cheers!
