JD and Morgan first crossed paths in the summer of 2015 at the Governors Scholar Program on the campus of Morehead State University. Six years later, the two coincidentally bumped into one another at a professional school social and later agreed to meet up for dinner to catch up. Catching up on the last six years turned out to take longer than just one dinner. One dinner turned into many more and then any excuse to spend more time together. Since 2021, the two have made so many great memories together, but none of those top the moment JD asked Morgan to marry him. JD popped the big question in the middle of Morgan's childhood home kitchen and pulled off the BIGGEST surprise - a feat Morgan swore could never happen, but admits is so glad it did. JD and Morgan are so thrilled to be starting this new chapter together, and can't wait to celebrate with all of their favorite people.
