Since birth, Peter has been one of J.D.'s best friends (even though he may not have realized during infancy). Through all the ups and downs of J.D.'s life, Peter has been there. He is the most supportive, loving, and intelligent guy! He has loved J.D. in spite of his band-wagon fandom tendencies.

When Kaylee joined her sorority in college, Kaitlynn was her big sis. Since they've met, they've been inseparable! We couldn't say "I do" (or plan this thing) without her alongside!

Once again, a best friend since birth (pretty sure she knew it during infancy). Danielle is J.D.'s younger sister and his go-to for singing, dancing, and never ending conversations. Danielle is a caring, loving, genius of a human who never stops making J.D. laugh.

And then along came a LITTLE! In their sorority at Fresno State, Jennifer was the bride's little sister. Jennifer also put up with Kaylee for three weeks traveling across Europe so she deserves her seat.

Forced into best friendship, Sami was the first new edition to the family. In J.D.'s opinion, anyone who can deal with Danielle's Broadway theatrics is a keeper. Sami has consistently shown the entire Dragna family nothing but supportive and love. J.D. is one heck of a lucky guy to have him in the family (and forced best friendship).

Sonya and Kaylee have also known each other over 10 years! (Wow, we are getting old) Kaylee has inserted herself into the Venugopal Family enough times, Sonya is basically another sister.

Nicole burst onto the scene when J.D. was working at Tampa Prep and took the school by storm, dating Peter. She has been with the family through all of J.D.'s antics, including his cool emo phase. When J.D. moved to Chicago he would frequently call to complain to Nicole about the midwest's unrelating cold weather. Without her support, J.D. would have likely been frozen solid!

Kalina was one of Kaylee's first friends when the new middle school Granite Ridge opened up. The two were in a (very lame) play together and have been inseparable ever since!

Brittany Patterson

Meeting during graduate school, Brittany and J.D. became instant friends. Often talking about horror movies, existential ideas, and the highs and lows of grad school, J.D. and Brittany were the best of friends. Brittany was foundational in Kaylee and J.D.'s relationship. She continuously urged him to flirt with Kaylee during their first year stats course. Brittany is and will forever be a member of Bum Squad.

Haley and Kaylee became closer their senior years of high school and have remained close ever since! Kaylee couldn't imagine getting married without Haley around to pop the champagne!

Kasha, another founding member of Bum Squad, became close friends with J.D. during graduate school. She too would encourage J.D. to flirt with Kaylee. Kasha has been as one of J.D.'s closest friends. From the game nights to the random packages sent to J.D. and Kaylee's house, Kasha always makes them laugh.
