We’re Getting Married!

In the Summer of 2018, Hannah and JD packed their bags from opposite ends of the country and embarked on a trip to Tanzania through Give Volunteers. Both eager to travel abroad and immerse in a new culture, the two knew little of the lifetime partnership with one another that was to come. Hannah and JD quickly formed an inseparable bond that led JD to moving to Wisconsin just two months after meeting Hannah. Each year their relationship grew stronger through graduating college together, moving to Florida to begin their careers, and to now traveling the country for Hannah's travel nursing contracts (of course, with their beloved Golden Retriever, Maddux). Seven years of love, travel, and adventure all led to a hazy beach in San Francisco, CA where JD proposed to Hannah on May 31, 2025.
