Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttles available to transport guests staying downtown. Shuttles will take guests from the Seelbach and Hotel Distil to the ceremony and reception and back at the end of the evening. Guests staying at other hotels are also welcome to use the shuttles.

When do the shuttles leave from Hotel Distil and the Seelbach?

Answer

Shuttles will arrive at Hotel Distil and the Seelbach at 4:10 PM and leave for the chapel at 4:20 PM. They will be parked outside the hotel's main entrance.

What should I expect for the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will feature a full Catholic Mass, lasting about an hour. We invite you to participate in the Mass in whatever way feels comfortable to you. Our faith is deeply meaningful to us and has been a guiding force throughout our relationship. God brought us together, and we wish to honor Him as we begin our journey as husband and wife.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive no later than 4:45 PM to ensure the ceremony begins on time. While there is ample parking available on the Sacred Heart Schools campus, the lot closest to the chapel may fill up quickly. If you are driving, we recommend allowing extra time to find a parking spot.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! Both the chapel and Louisville Country Club have parking. Valet parking will be available at LCC.

What should I wear?

Answer

The welcome party is cocktail attire. Women should wear a dress or semi-formal attire and men should wear a jacket. The wedding day is black-tie optional attire. Women should wear a formal dress, and men should wear a tux or coat and tie.

Are children invited?

Answer

We kindly ask that children, with the exception of those listed on the invitation, not attend our wedding weekend events. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
