How will we get to your wedding venue, Wind & Sea on the big day?

Answer

As Big Sur is a remote area, and lodging is very limited, we recommend for guests to stay in Carmel-by-the Sea, which is one hour away from Wind & Sea. With that, we have scheduled a shuttle to pick all guests up in downtown Carmel-by-the Sea to safely transport our guests to Wind & Sea. Scheduled pick up will be 2:30 PM, and will take everyone back to Carmel-by-the-Sea when festivities are over around 10:00 PM.

What's the cell service like in Big Sur?

Answer

Once you leave Carmel, and drive into Big Sur you will lose all cell reception so please ensure to plan accordingly (maps, itinerary, etc) as you will have NO cell service while in Big Sur!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Unfortunately, parking is very limited at the venue. Therefore, all guests should be arriving through the shuttles provided which will be picked up in Carmel, unless otherwise noted.

Are kids welcome?

Unfortunately, this will be an adults only (21+) event.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire. Given the grounds of Wind & Sea, we strongly recommend for comfortable footwear and for ladies to not wear any uncomfortable high heels.

We kindly request all RSVP's no later than March 15, 2024.
