Ceremony

This will be a fall wedding outdoors - the attire is semi-casual.
Please seat yourself in the middle set of rows for the ceremony so everyone is together. The first two rows of seating are reserved for family. Reminder: this is an unplugged ceremony. Please leave your phones in your purse or pocket. Feel free to stay and chat and stay for photos after the ceremony takes place and before the bride and groom lead a group to the reception via tandem. This ride will be a child friendly pace so that all who want to join are able to! Guests are welcome, and encouraged, to ride their bikes to the reception with the bride and groom. Guests are more than welcome to arrive via car.
Reception
5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Go to Des Moines Waterworks Park, the reception will be at the back loop of Waterworks. Copy and paste these coordinates into your GPS app to get to the location: 41.560960, -93.682475, Park outside of the gates and walk in. There will be catered food from Lucky Lotus including a build station with the following: Base: - Jasmine rice Proteins: - Lemongrass Chicken - Garlic Mushroom Medley - Vietnamese BBQ Pork Toppings: - pickled carrots and daikon radish - quick pickle cucumber - crunchy wonton strips - sesame seeds Sauces: - sesame tahini sauce - sweet miso glaze - Vietnamese tang Appetizers: - Rangoonies Veggie eggrolls Deserts: - Sesame Balls There will also be cupcakes, cookies, and cake available. Drinks include: Stella Easy Eddy Bud Light Coke Sprite Water Juice (kids) There will no longer be a bonfire with s'mores due to a fire ban in the area. Following the reception, there will be a group ride to a few local bars to wrap up the night.

Following the reception, the bride and groom will be leading a group ride a few bars to top off the night with guests. First stop is Confluence Brewery, second stop is Wellman’s Pub on Ingersoll, and then GT’s on Ingersoll (pretty much across the street from Wellman’s).
