FAQs

Q&A
Question

Do you have places you recommend we stay?

Answer

Yes! Many of our family members and friends are opting for an Airbnb in Palm Springs. If you do choose a hotel, there are a few recommendations under the "Travel & Stay" tab.

Question

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

High 70s to low 80s until the evening when it will get cold, so we suggest you bring a coat. It could also be windy!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional or formal cocktail attire. We would love for our guests to be dressed formally (think cocktail and evening dresses or a suit and tie or sports coat). No denim and no white as this color is reserved for the bride and our military personnel only.

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is free self-parking. Just be sure not to block any driveways!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

For our vendors sake please RSVP by February 8th 2026 or we can't guarantee enough chairs, food, or drinks.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Once invitations are sent out, there will be a QR code which will lead you to our RSVP page on our website. Then, follow the steps as prompted.

Question

What should I do if I cannot attend or need to change my RSVP?

Answer

If you are unable to make it, the digital invite link will lead you to our RSVP page where you can decline and/or change your RSVP status.

Question

What happens if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that all RSVP's be submitted by February 8th so we can finalize our details with our venue and vendors. We cannot guarantee accommodations if this deadline is missed due to contracts with vendors. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly request no additional guests beyond those named on the invitations.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Guests are asked to arrive at 4:00PM.

Question

Where do I park for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The Lautner Compound is on the corner of San Antonio St and Yerxa Rd; guests can park along the far side of Yerxa Rd.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors in the same location.

Question

How should I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

From Palm Springs we recommend the following route: 1. Take N Gene Autry Trail continuing onto Palm Dr for about 6 miles 2. Turn right onto Dillon Rd and continue for about 1 mile 3. Turn left onto Bubbling Wells Rd and continue for another mile 4. Turn right onto San Antonio St. The Lautner Compound will be at the end of the street on the left.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only event, except for the flower girls and ring bearers. This is so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Question

Should I bring a gift to your wedding?

Answer

Since many of you are traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry it will be found on the Registry portion of this website once available. Any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request an unplugged ceremony. Our professional photographer will be capturing the moment, so you can be present with us (and your phones won't make a cameo in our pictures).
