We're Getting Married!

Welcome to our wedding website. Thank you for celebrating this season of engagement with us! We believe in God's design of marriage and are excited to do great things for His kingdom as one.

How We Met

The short and sweet version: we met through friends

Rewind to freshman year of college where Ben and Stuart pledged the same fraternity at Auburn and Caroline and Stuart started dating. A few years after graduating and going separate ways, they all found themselves in Atlanta. Caroline and Stuart started going to Passion City Church (where Ben also attended) and met Jordan on a random community group night where the three of them became friends. A couple years later, after a group vote on New Year's Eve, the timing was right and Caroline and Stuart coordinated a fun date. On January 18, 2018, we met on a blind date at Painted Pin, an upscale bowling alley, with Caroline and Stuart. Shortly after, we went on our first one-on-one (no, not like the Bachelor) at South City Kitchen. Lots of one-on-ones from then on!

The Proposal

March 16, 2019: from Jordan's perspective

After dating for a year, I knew it was only a matter of time before Ben would propose. When Ben and I started having more conversations about marriage, we also talked about how this proposal would go. My one request was that it be private; I did not want to be in a public place with lots of people watching. We are both big planners, so Ben had told me that his coworker invited us to come over one weekend. I had this on my calendar for weeks! On our way, Ben said he forgot something at his condo that he needed to bring to the party. We walked up to his condo, he opened the door and my reaction was "What's that?!" He had rearranged his furniture and placed a table in the middle of the living room with photos of us, roses and champagne. I laughed and cried at the same time. He pulled me over to the table, said a lot of nice things that I don't remember and asked me to marry him - I said yes! He also gave me the most perfect pink Bible with my new name monogrammed on it. He then told me that we were not going to his coworker's house and that Caroline and Stuart were waiting at a Starbucks nearby; they were coming over to spend the day with us. The four of us went to Skyline Park and celebrated! It was so special - intimate, private and with the friends who introduced us. The best day!

5 Fun Facts

1. Jesus is our 1st priority and the foundation of our relationship 2. The 1st meal we cooked together was a cast iron skillet lasagna 3. We are a 1 and a 2 on the enneagram 4. We love to get dressed up for a fancy dinner but can also be found at all-you-can-eat sushi and strolling Target afterwards 5. You'll never see a door Jordan's walking through that Ben hasn't opened :-)
