Jamin and Bri met on the night of New Years' Eve of 2019. They crossed paths serving alongside each other at a youth event at Calvary Chapel in Tucson, Arizona. Not looking for love or expecting to find their forever. They spent the whole night together chatting, laughing, and getting to know one another. When the morning had come and they parted ways, they both counted down the hours until they saw each other again. Knowing there was something very special between them.
A few long days later Jamin asked Bri out for coffee. They met up at Cartel Coffee Lab and were there for over 5 hours. They spent the whole time talking, laughing, working on a puzzle, and sharing their favorite life stories. The hours flew by like minutes. Although it had only been a few days it felt as if they had known each other for a lifetime. After they went to Nicos and grubbed out on some quesadillas and burritos. Now their favorite meal to have with each other.
Jamin and Bri were on a family vacation in Berthoud, Colorado. Jamin had been wanting to take Bri out to this beautiful location called Sapphire Point. Not thinking much about it Bri got ready and they headed out on their adventure for the day. The whole two hour drive up was breathtaking with snow covered mountains and the cutest towns. It was as if they were in their very own hallmark movie. When they arrived at the location they made their way down the trail. When they got to the look out they were speechless. The views were breathtaking but much to Bri's surprise there was something way more exciting about to happen. That was then when Jamin got down on one knee and pushed her off the side of the...Jk he asked her to be his wife. Through tears and a huge smile she said yes.
As most of you already know we did indeed get eloped already. Jamin got a position at Crossroads Community Church in Vancouver, Washington in July. When he received this position the original plan was for Jamin to move out to Washington in August and for Briana to stay back and move out there once they were married in March. But after some consideration and lots of prayer, we decided to do a small and intimate elopement ceremony so they could embark on this journey together. Jamin shortly after moved out to Washington and Briana joined him a week later. Though we are already married, we still want to have a wedding ceremony where we are able to celebrate with all of our friends and family together (also so Bri can wear her wedding dress).
