Because we want guests to be fully present at our ceremony, we request that guests do not take photos while we are at the church (during the ceremony and during the grand exit.) We suggest you leave your phone in your car, so there won't be any distractions that might take you out of the moment. We've also hired one of the best photographers in the business, and we'll be sure to share lots of photos with each of you! There will be ample opportunity for photos at the reception, so make sure to bring your camera if you want a picture with us!
With all the craziness that comes with a wedding, we would love to spend as much time as possible with our closest and dearest friends and family — thank you for not bringing a guest. If unsure, you can check your invitation envelope, and you'll see exactly who has been invited.
We'd love for you to bring your kids to our ceremony! However, due to a small venue space and because of our wish of giving all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about entertaining their children, we politely request no young children at the evening reception. We want to give parents a special date night!
Because we're hosting an evening reception, we invite you to either check out downtown, enjoy some of the amazing overlooks on the way to the venue, or just head back to your accommodations for a nap. Just remember to leave time for travel (especially since traffic in Chattanooga has been especially bad with all the construction!)
The ceremony is dressy casual, but anything you want to wear we are sure will be okay! Please choose gentle and calm colors (no bright colors or reds.) We're wanting a group photograph of all who attend our wedding so we don't want anyone jumping out because of their color choice. For our reception, we invite you to change into semi-formal attire. We want to create a classy and timeless vibe and hope that getting to pull out your favorite formal dress or suit will put you in the mood for a party!
