JB and Sonja's romance began in a lakehouse. JB's sister, Katie, went to SPU with Sonja and the two have remained good friends since college. JB met Sonja many times at Katie's house and at get togethers with friends. JB was always attracted to Sonja's beauty and charm, but was clueless as to her interest in him.
