A perfect storm brought these two together. Jessica and Ben both swiped right on their dating app and Jessica immediately "fed" into Ben's plan. Ben asked if she liked to cook or be cooked for, knowing full well he'd cook vegan food for anyone. One summer night, they got together for drinks at a bar local to Jessica's new South End apartment. Ben didn't want the second round (because he was penny pinching), and Jessica took this as a conclusion to the date. But they rebounded, went to a different bar, and talked until they were the last ones there. Ben walked Jessica to her door just a hundred yards away and tentatively set another date a week and a half in the future. This long delay could have been an early relationship killer, but they persevered. While Ben played frisbee, Jessica worked nights. They went on their second, third, and fourth date, and eventually they didn't want to stop spending time with each other. After years of meeting family and friends, learning to ski, cooking vegan food, endless time in bodies of water, eating kiwis, and a game that brought an engagement ring, they are inviting all their friends and family to celebrate their nuptials!
