Flight
Arrive in Milan! We recommend flying into the Milan-Linate Airport (LIN) or the Malpensa Airport (MXP). From LIN, it’s about a 45 minute drive or 1 hour train ride to Lake Como. From MXP, it’s about a 40 minute drive. (Train is not recommended; it would take anywhere from 2-4 hours.) NB: We recommend downloading some travel apps for real time updates on when it’s best to book travel.

Location Lake Como is fairly large; the drive around is close to 4 hours! For ease of travel from the Milan airports and great walkability (plus proximity to the wedding venue), we recommend securing accommodation in Cernobbio or Como town. Cernobbio is central to our wedding activities, and Como (near by) is one of the larger villages surrounding the lake; plus you’ll still be able to explore the other beautiful regions via car, bus, or boat. Accommodation Options Summer is a beautiful, busy season for Lake Como. Though there are many housing options, the hotels tend to book up earlier. Vacation rentals through Airbnb, Vrbo, etc., are another great option. Listed below are some hotels that were recommended to us. More General Info Coming Soon!
