“We’re getting married!”

Jazmyn had been working at a local shop in town where Ryan frequented. Every time he would come in, Jazmyn’s coworker would yell out his name and Ryan would laugh and say “Hello” to his friend. Over time, Ryan would ask about “the girl with the cool nails” and Jazmyn would ask about “the guy with the cool laugh.” They finally switched contact information, Jazmyn came over one night after work, and she never went home.

After almost three years together, we were off to the San Juan Islands for the second trip to celebrate Ryan’s mom getting married on their old family property. The day after the ceremony, we went out for breakfast on the pier then decided to take Daisy to South Beach, her very first time on the beach. As Daisy explored, Ryan began… “It’s been a crazy few years with you…” As we celebrated, a local of the island walking along the beach asked us to take our picture to commemorate the moment.
