We’re Getting Married!

We met the first day of EMS academy at fort totten. We instantly clicked and became friends. Our friendship grew fast during the 4 months in the academy as we were often grouped together. Jaquan had so much influence on me early on that while we were in the academy I brought my first car and it was the same exact car as his but just in a different color. When the academy ended we stayed in contact and picked up a lot of overtime together. Almost every year we made it a point to go out to a bar to celebrate our yearly anniversary being with the FDNY. We dated other people throughout the years but always remained close friends. At a point in time I asked him to help me study while in medic school. We were both single at the time. Studying together lead into us becoming inseparable and deciding to go through life together. 6 years later we are finally ready to make it “government official” lol!
