We only require earth tones and fall colors, please refrain from black and white. Otherwise be comfy! Boots are recommended due to cactus and the occasional rattlesnake. Sunscreen is a must, and mosquito repellent is highly recommended.
Short answer, NO. Long answer, the area is incredibly high risk for fires, we ask that rather than smoking, you use alternative nicotine for the evening, be it pouches, e-cigarettes, or patches. Of course you are more than welcome to smoke within your own vehicle, but no ashing outside the vehicle and you must dispose of the butt safely.
The ranch is approximately 12 miles west of Trinidad Colorado. Please keep in mind uber and taxi's aren't available like in bigger cities, so please drink responsibly, plan on carpooling with other guests, or camp for the evening!
There is plenty of space. Parking in the field beside the lower guest house will result in an uphill hike. Those in their golden years or with mobility issues will have priority on parking closest to the ceremony and reception area.
Depends on how fast you can walk! It's not a very long walk from the lower field to the upper area where we're having the ceremony, but it is entirely uphill. We would recommend coming about twenty-thirty minutes before the ceremony to give yourself enough time to cool down and grab a drink after the uphill trek. **We are reserving the spaces closest to the ceremony site for those in their golden years and those with mobility issues.
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites or Airbnb are recommended. If you plan on camping please let us know and bring your own camping gear. We can help with additional camping gear for those coming from out of state.
Plus ones are not a guarantee. Please respect that we are trying to keep this celebration small.
As soon as you can! We apologize for the late notice but it's been a crazy year.
Please let us know. We have a food truck serving Mexican food with vegan and gluten free options, and will be happy to accommodate you to the best of our ability.
