Diego and Jazmin’s story began in 2014, back when they were just a junior and a senior in high school, figuring out life one day at a time. On December 18, 2014, Diego showed up to Jazmin’s house holding a Build-A-Bear and enough courage to do things the old-school way. Instead of asking Jazmin out first, he asked her dad. Respectful. Intentional. Iconic. Jazmin said yes, and from that moment on, their journey officially began. What started as young love grew into something deeper as the years passed. They navigated graduations, big dreams, growing pains, and all the changes that come with becoming adults together. They learned how to support one another, how to show up even when things were hard, and how to keep choosing each other through every season of life. Eleven years later, their story has grown into something even more beautiful. They are now the proud parents of their four-year-old son, Gael, who is the heart of their world and the greatest reminder of how far they’ve come. From high school sweethearts to building a family of their own, their love has been steady, patient, and rooted in commitment. Some love stories are flashy. Theirs is lasting.
