Our story began at Wave Church — the place where God brought our paths together and where our greatest adventure first started. Before anything else, Devontay was Jazmin’s kid’s youth pastor, and neither of us could have imagined all that God had in store for our lives. After a few friends tried playing Cupid, we slowly began growing closer and built a friendship that became incredibly meaningful. During one of the most challenging seasons of Jazmin’s life, Devontay became her safe place, biggest encourager, and very best friend. As time went on, it became impossible to ignore how much God’s hand was woven into our story. What started as friendship grew into something so much deeper, and when Devontay finally shared his feelings for Jazmin, everything changed. From that moment on, our story simply took off. Through every step, we’ve seen God’s faithfulness guiding our relationship, and we’re so excited to continue this adventure together as husband and wife.
