Things To Do

We’re so grateful to share our wedding weekend with you! We chose a Friday wedding on purpose, so everyone could turn the celebration into a full Miami weekend of exploring, relaxing, eating, and maybe recovering from the dance floor. Below are a few of our favorite things to do if you have extra time in town. Whether you’re in the mood for a stroll, shopping, or a baseball game, we hope you find something fun to enjoy ! Strolling & Shopping Coconut Grove Shaded streets, boutiques, cafés, and excellent people-watching. Design District Luxury shops, beautiful restaurants, and plenty of “just browsing” opportunities. Lincoln Road An outdoor mall perfect for walking, shopping, and grabbing a bite. Vizcaya Museum & Garden A waterfront European-style villa surrounded by gardens. Events Marlins vs Atlanta Braves Sep 26 @ 4:10pm, and Sep 27 @ 3:20pm Above all else, we love to EAT, so we had to share a few restaurant recommendations in the city that brought us together.

Chug's Diner

3444 Main Highway, Miami, FL 33133

This is our favorite brunch spot! At a minimum, you have to try the Breakfast Sandwich and Mojo Pork Hash.

Salt & Straw

3015 Grand Avenue, Miami, FL 33133

This is the best ice cream David has ever had. Their monthly rotating flavors always keep things interesting, so there’s always something new to try.

Crema Gourmet Doral

8550 Northwest 53rd Street, Doral, FL 33166

This is the one place we’re willing to wake up early for. You can’t go wrong with the Breakfast Sandwich and Almond Croissant.

Pastis Miami

380 Northwest 26th Street, Miami, FL 33127

This is the place Jazmin raves about but somehow still hasn’t taken David to. Maybe you’ll make it there before he does! If you do, the Steak Sandwich and Chicken Paillard are amazing—but then again, what isn’t good drenched in butter?

La Carreta

3632 Southwest 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135

At the beginning of our relationship, we fueled ourselves on jamón y queso empanadas and café con leche more often than we’ll ever confess. They are amazing! Specifically the location on Calle 8.

No Manches! Que rico

6212 Southwest 8th Street, Miami, FL 33144

Our favorite taco spot. Somehow the chicken taco is their best one, but you can't go wrong with any of their tacos.
