There is only one person I legitimately talk to more than my own mother that I don't see face to face on a daily basis. That guy is the same guy that I lived with for three years and outside of my blood relatives, is the closest things I have to an actual brother. Congrats on tying the knot bro! Jazmin and I met 5 years ago when she was one of my first roommates at UNC and the first person I met at Carolina. Her name was actually the reason I chose that dorm and therefore the reason I met some of the best friends I have today, including her. Through the years my friendship with Jazmin has steadily blossomed into a beautiful relationship that I truly cherish. She remains a source of calmness and peace in my life and I know she’s always there when I need logical, level-headed, advice or just a really good conversation. I am so happy for Jazmin & Daraj’s union, and I pray that she finds as much fulfillment in her marriage as she has brought into my life. Daraj is blessed with the opportunity to experience Jazmin forever, and I hope to have the same luck as well!

I've had the pleasure (most of the time) of knowing Jazmin all my life, being that we're second cousins and were incredibly close growing up. Along with her sister Alexus we were thick as thieves and even had a notorious group known as the JCAs (Jazmin/Chasadee/Alexus aka Jesus Christ Angels). If we weren't close before, we definitely forged a tight bond when attending UNC and rooming together for two years. In college, Jazmin and I relied on each other like never before and got the opportunity to truly love and appreciate each other. I also had the opportunity to observe Jazmin and Daraj in their unique relationship and realize how much they really complement each other. I'm so joyful to be able to share this wonderful day with them and am excited to see what the future has in store!
