It was night-time in the mountains of Ruidoso. They were on a camping trip, and after everyone went to bed, Zak and Jazzy slipped away for a walk while sharing music, laughter, and deep conversation under the stars. As they wandered down the highway, Zak said if they stayed out long enough, they might see a shooting star. Jazzy told him that she had never seen one and didn’t think they were real. He smiled and promised, “Just wait.” So they laid down right there on the empty mountain road. It felt like a scene from The Notebook. In that stillness, Jazzy whispered a prayer to God: If he’s the one, show me a sign and just then, a shooting star streaked across the sky. She almost thought she had imagined it until Zak turned to her, eyes lit up, laughing: “Did you see that?!” Right then we knew that this was forever, and God had just whispered, "yes". Jazzy said "I trusted him and in that moment thought that wherever he led me, I would follow because I know everything will be okay" Zak said "No matter how dangerous the situation was, we didn't care. We trusted each other and knew that we were safe. Thats when I knew we would take care of each other forever".
