Welcome to our forever

When Jazlyn and Adam met, Jazlyn was just restarting her life. "I had nothing, moved an hour from home, I was starting over," says Jazlyn. During this time, she began to reach out and seek friends in her new area. Little did she know, about an hour away, Adam was looking for someone special too. "I was having the worst luck with dates. They would not call back or cancel, I just wanted a chance." About a month into Jazlyn's move, Adam came on her radar. What caught her attention? A beautiful black lab named Radar. What caught his attention? Her eyes and nerdy personality. They began to talk and realized that it was a match. From movies to sports to dogs and everything in between, there wasn't a topic off limits. There also wasn't a topic they couldn't find a common ground on. After talking, a zoom interview (conducted by Jazlyn of course,) and a final phone call, the two met for the first time. Meeting at Longhorn Steakhouse, the two found that this moment wasn't meant to just last tonight. Before the salads were even on the table, Adam asked Jazlyn to watch the Super Bowl at his house the following Sunday. She said yes. Everything beyond that day has led us here today.

If you ask Adam, he would tell you he had a grand plan. There was a theater involved, all the best friends of both parties, and a huge surprise. But that isn't how their story happened. A week prior, the couple went engagement ring shopping as proposed by Adam. As they looked, and looked, only one ring rose above the rest. Jazlyn adored it, Adam adored it, and the price wasn't awful. But they couldn't decide: go with what we love or risk never knowing if something better is out there. But like their relationship, they trusted in each other. The ring was chosen. On February 24th, Adam was called and informed that the ring was ready to be picked up. Together, just as the whole relationship had been, the couple went to pick up the ring. It fit perfectly, and even caused Jazlyn to cry. As they left, Adam realized two things. One, "I couldn't wait, the way it looked on her finger.....I couldn't wait." Two, "this is the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with." He asked Jazlyn to marry him, and after about 2 minutes of saying "are you serious," she finally said yes.
