We met online, where it all began with a slightly cringeworthy smile from Dan. What followed were hours of conversation that naturally led us to our first date in Charleston, South Carolina. That day was marked by lighthearted moments, many thanks to Dan, including his now-infamous “angry-looking” expression, even as he insisted he was smiling. With grace, Jaz agreed to a second date, and two weeks later, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, our story truly began. For the next year and a half, we traveled back and forth between Georgia and North Carolina to see one another. During that time, we discovered a shared love for travel, adventure, and exploring new places together. Through the distance and constant trips, we realized that simply visiting each other wasn’t enough; we wanted to build a life together. In April 2023, against the breathtaking backdrop of the blue oceans in Honolulu, Hawaii, we made that commitment official and got engaged. We continued embracing our love of adventure as we stepped into the next chapter of our lives. In true military fashion, we decided to get married at a courthouse in Virginia. Since then, we’ve built a home together in Yuma, Arizona. Buying our first house and experiencing life in the desert for the very first time. Here, we’ve learned to appreciate both the quiet, everyday moments and the adventures that still call us outward. Whether it’s a weekend trip or a night at home, we continue to grow, laugh, and take on life side by side. While we were married in a courthouse, we never had the chance to celebrate with all of you, making this moment even more meaningful. We are deeply grateful for the love and support of our family and friends, and we look forward to celebrating this special chapter with you at The Olana❤️. See you all there!
