How to get to the Sunshine Coast:
To get to the Sunshine Coast, you will be traveling by boat from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver to Langdale/Gibsons. For those of you who have never taken BC ferries, I'm sorry for what you might go through with delays (it's their bread and butter). Luckily, it's only a 40 minute sailing. If you will be taking your car across, we recommend to reserve your sailing a minimum of 2 months ahead as the ferries get very busy during the summer season, and reservations sell out. Parking/walking on is also available with no need to reserve. Please note that alternative transport options on the Sunshine Coast are very limited. We're talking a bus every once in a while, no Ubers, and a couple taxi guys. For a ride share service, visit https://coastalrides.ca. Here are some options for places to stay near the venue. There is also a multitude of choices on VRBO and Airbnb. Please ensure you are selecting Sunshine Coast BC, and not Australia. Alternatively, there are lots of campsites nearby if you're feeling outdoorsy. A heads up, as a popular tourist destination accommodations can get booked up quick so please secure your stay sooner rather than later.
