Andrew is Jayson’s older and only brother. Growing up Andrew was Jayson’s role model and still is today. The two have become closer after they both entered adulthood and share common interests. Jayson would tag along with Andrew and his friends when they would come over. They spent many hours outside in the summer together from races, biking, four wheeling, and farming.
Matthew Gollaher
Best Man
Matt is Travis’s best friend from college (husband of Sam). Matt and Travis worked together at Daktronics while attending SDSU, and Matt and Sam later moved to Owatonna to work at Federated. Travis enjoys golfing with Matt, talking technology, hanging out, and regular trips to Vegas! Travis truly couldn’t ask for a better friend than Matt and is happy to have gotten to know him through the years!
Maddie Grates
Maid of Honor
Jayson and Maddie became friends when Jayson moved to Litchfield High School in 9th grade. They became best friends their senior year and have been since. Jayson doesn’t get to see Maddie often as she lives in Duluth, but they make time when they both go home on weekends or plan weekends to see each-other. They have been to Florida twice with each-other for spring break. They talk almost daily and never have a dull moment when together.
Samantha Gollaher

Travis met Sam through her husband Matt. Sam also attended SDSU and worked at Daktronics. Like Matt and Travis, Sam later started working at Federated because she couldn’t stand the thought of her two best friends working there without her. :) Travis loves that Sam can’t say no to last minute night outs, going to Vegas (or any vacation for that matter), but more than anything, Travis loves being able to call Matt and Sam his best friends and couldn’t imagine being in Owatonna without them.
Derek Breezer

Derek is Jayson other Best Friend. Derek and Jayson met in 2022 after Jayson and Travis moved into their new house. Derek, his wife Afton and daughter Quinn (which both are also in the wedding) only live one block over from the couple. Jayson and Derek go fishing almost every Tuesday in the summer after work and from time to time on the weekends (which almost always they grab McDonald’s on their adventure). Occasionally they will go grab a beer at the local brewery to hangout, or Jayson walks over to hang out and watch movies or talk and hang out in the garage.
Mitch Peters

Travis met Mitch while working at Federated. Travis and Mitch work closely together which eventually led to getting to know each other better. Mitch (and his wife Marissa - also Federated) are the kindest folks around. Through dinner dates, friendsmas, and random nights out, Travis loves getting to spend time with the Peters!
Whitney Wendorff

Whitney is Jayson’s older and only sister. Jayson was always that annoying little brother. Since there was an 8 year age gap between them, they did not hang out much, but Whitney would let Jayson tag along with her and her friends at times. Since both of them are now adults they seem to have gotten closer and enjoy making jokes with each other. Whitney has always been there for Jayson and shows so much love and support to him.
Afton Breezer

Afton is the coolest person you’ll ever meet (her parents, husband, and daughter aren’t so bad either ;)). Travis met Afton through her Mom, Vianna (another Federated co worker). Afton, Derek, and daughter Quinn live by Jayson and Travis. You’ll regularly see the group hanging out, having supper, or spending summer nights around a fire. They’ve become the “extended family” the couple didn’t realize they were missing!
Brendan Hedtke

Jayson and Brendan are first cousin that are only 11 days apart. These two were inseparable when they were kids and teenagers. Once they moved away for college they didn’t talk much, but they reconnected and now chat regularly throughout the week. They both shared and still do share many common interests such as golf, traveling, and helping others.
Chad Rand

Chad is a longtime friend of Travis’s from back home. Travis got to know Chad while in high school and quickly became like family. Through the years, Chad and Travis (as well as the rest of the Rand, Sparks, and Aeikens families) became close friends. Through bonfires, suppers, phone calls, and texting, they’ve remained close through college and careers. Travis can always depend on Chad for advice, help throwing a party, or anything else he needs!
Shelbie Hedtke

Shelbie is Jayson’s sister in-law and no they did not meet through Jayson’s brother Andrew. Jayson and Shelbie actually met in high school before Andrew and Shelbie meeting. After they started dating, Jayson and Shelbie became very close and formed a tight relationship. When together there is always laughter filling the room and jokes being made, these two never have dull moment. There is a joke now that started while Jayson was helping Andrew and Shelbie remodel their bathroom, Shelbie will now randomly say “look at them calves” because Shelbie says “Jayson has massive calves”, which she is not wrong.

Travis met Molina in college (and fiancé Eric). They both majored in Computer Science and began to hang out more throughout college - even taking a trip to Vegas together (imagine that, another Vegas trip!). While Molina and Travis don’t get to see each other often, they still stay in touch and Travis is happy to have Molina as a close friend!

Shilice met Jayson when he was a little boy at the racetrack. Growing up Jayson had many sleep overs after the races at Shilice’s house. Jayson always called Shilice his “Race track Girlfriend”. Later Shilice moved to North Dakota and became a pastor. Jayson and Shilice stay in touch with each other and spend hours on the phone. When Jayson asked Shilice to be their officiant she was blessed and honored. Jayson admires Schilice and is grateful she has been apart of his life. Shilice is an extremely supportive, loving and caring person.
Quinn Brezzer

Jayson and Travis got to meet and get to know Quinn in 2022 (after they met Derek and Afton). Jayson and Travis’s favorite thing about Quinn is her smile, laugh, and how she will drop everything and run to them and hug them as soon as they walk through the door. The couple loves their silly “niece” beyond measure.
