As typical twenty-somethings in the city these days, we originally were connected on the dating app Hinge. However, the story gets much more exciting from here on out. Perhaps we both weren’t expecting too much when we agreed to a Saturday evening movie date (how was Jayson going to talk Hannah’s ear off about sports or Hannah find an opportunity to FaceTime her mother in the theater?!). The night before the date, we began to figure out which showtime worked best, when we both revealed that during the day, we would be going to a birthday party. Two different parties. At the same time. At the same place. It seemed as though fate intervened, as we ended up meeting during the day at this venue, and immediately hit it off. After an amazing day connecting, we ended up still going on our movie date, and had a blast enjoying each other’s company. And after that, as they say – the rest is history.
