For those of you who haven’t been to Savannah before , Savannah is a city where most places are within walking distance and parking is limited. I would advise finding a hotel or airbnb close by to Monterey square or sorry Charlie’s oyster bar as walking is the best option. There is some along side the road parking downtown but it is scarce. Another option would be to uber to the ceremony and/or reception. The walk is about 15 minutes from ceremony to reception site. It is a nice walk, we have taken it many times before ourselves.
Yes- the wedding ceremony will be outside at a historical square. I would recommend cooler comfortable dresses/clothing as it will be august in the south. There ceremony will be short and sweet and then we will head to the reception hall which will be in the AC !
