we met at a backyard fire that neither of us planned on going to but fate clearly had other plans. our mutual friend was actually trying to set joey up with someone else, & i somehow ended up being the one encouraging it… awkward i know 🫣 instead, we hit it off instantly, spent every day talking & hanging out, & made it official on june 8, 2020. since then, life together has been such an adventure from trips to jamaica, the dominican republic, & nashville (go titans 😅), to moving into our first basement apartment & now our townhouse that truly feels like home. we’ve grown through everything side-by-side & are now starting our biggest chapter yet !! welcoming our baby girl in february! 🩷 joey proposed during a “simple photoshoot” i planned before my bump started showing little did i know, he’d already worked with the photographer to surprise me in the middle of the session. it was the sweetest moment :’) we first planned a long engagement so we could get married in hawaii & have our family here but just recently we decided not to wait i texted him while he was at work & said “we should get married soon i want ur last name” & he said “I don’t mind that idea” & we instantly knew it was right. we eloped & celebrating with everyone in april 2026!! through it all, we’ve always been each other’s biggest supporters, best friends, & home. no matter what life throws our way, we keep choosing each other 🩶
