Wedding Party

These are the people who’ve been with us through thick and thin — our ride-or-dies, secret keepers, cheerleaders, and chosen family. We’re so grateful to have them standing by our side as we start this new chapter.

Jaehyuk Kim

Man of Honor

Hi, I'm Jaehyuk 👋 I'm forever Ja Young’s little brother — it’s kind of my destiny? My birthright? 😄 Naturally, I met her the day I opened my eyes. And about two decades later, I met Jeremy — the guy she brought home 💍 One of my favorite memories is when Ja Young and Jeremy visited Korea last year and came over for dinner. Our mom cooked a feast for Jeremy — the table was basically collapsing — and we were all shocked (and very full 😅). This is my first time in the U.S., and I’m so excited that it’s for such a joyful occasion. I can’t wait to celebrate this beautiful moment with you all! 💕

Juhee Kim

Maid of Honor

I met Ja Young through church, and we’ve shared so many meaningful moments together. One of my favorite memories is catching up over Blue Bottle coffee in Bryant Park — those moments made us feel so alive, like the world suddenly became more beautiful. A fun fact about me: I can rap, and I’m also working on a short film about mental health. If I had to describe our friendship in one phrase, it would be: “You can’t get through this tough world alone.” We’re always trying to support each other and stand side by side through it all.

Kelsey Ahn

Maid of Honor

Hi! I’m Kelsey. I first met Ja Young in 2013 when we were in our early 20s. I enjoy traveling, discovering new scents and I’m the bride’s dessert-loving soul sister who proudly opened up the world of sweets to Ja Young. From our early days bonding at church to exploring dessert spots, pop-ups, galleries, and fragrance shops, our friendship has been built on faith, shared joy, and a little bit of sugar-she’s the sprinkles to my cupcake. Fun Fact: I had the joy of witnessing Ja Young and Jeremy’s very first date—an early glimpse of a beautiful love story. 🤭

Eungyeol Han

Bridesmaid

Jayoung and I met at work and eventually became roommates, which deepened our bond. I’m so grateful she reached out to me first—otherwise, this friendship might have never happened. Even though she’s younger, I’ve always admired her strength and maturity. I still remember the early days of her and Jeremy’s relationship, and now I’m beyond happy to witness this beautiful next chapter in their story!

Yoonju Cho

Bridesmaid

I met Ja Young by chance through a friend of a friend, and it didn’t take long for her to capture my heart—with her kindness, thoughtful words, and that uniquely charming presence (not to mention her perfectly shaped head!). What began as fun hangouts turned into a deep friendship where we could share thoughts and worries. Kindred spirits are rare, and even though we don’t see each other often now that I live far away, just thinking of Ja Young brings warmth to my heart. I haven’t met Jeremy yet, but I know she’s chosen well—because Ja Young is wise and full of love. I can’t wait to meet him and celebrate this beautiful new chapter together!

Josephine Kong

Bridesmaid

Hi! My name is Josephine Kong and I met Jeremy and Ja Young in 2022 through the NY Central church. Back then when we would hang out, little did I know that I was the unintentional third wheel! My favorite memory with them is going to Bryant Park in the summer and watching Indiana Jones. Also when we asked Jeremy what his ideal type was, and him literally describing Ja Young. Fun fact: I lived in Egypt for a year and was followed by little kids who hilariously thought I was in a kpop girl group.

Emily Ahn

Bridesmaid

I met Ja Young through Jeremy, and I’m so excited we will soon be sisters-in-law! My favorite memory with Ja Young has to be either 노래방/karaoke in Hongdae and at our house, or taking a pilates class together (yes, with Jeremy too). Go-to karaoke song: “dear name” by IU

Joshua Ahn

Best Man

I have the privilege of being the older brother of the groom. A fun fact about us is that before he learned how to speak intelligibly, I served as his translator, deciphering his baby language for my parents (successfully, might I add). Jeremy’s always been my built-in best friend and he’s been there for me at so many important moments in my life. It’s an honor to be there for him and Ja Young on their special day!

James Ahn

Groomsman

My name is James and I’m Jeremy’s role model, mentor, hero, and biggest inspiration. Im also his youngest brother. One of my favorite things about Ja Young is that she can yell at Jeremy all she wants, and Jeremy can’t do anything about it. Naturally, I always agree with her, and Jeremy still can’t do anything about it! It’s great, I love it!

Solomon Kim

Groomsman

Jeremy and I got to know each other in college playing music, video games, sports, and eating a lot of dominos. It’s hard to pick a favorite memory with Jeremy, I just know that I miss driving to South Bend to see civilization, get real food, and get through our mega list of movies. A fun fact about me is that I grew up 20 min. from Jeremy yet never met him or got to know him until Junior year of college. I’m excited for this new chapter in Jeremy’s life and know that his curiosity, ingenuity, creativity, and faith will provide a strong foundation for himself and Ja Young’s happy marriage. Congrats!

Joel Kim

Groomsman

Jeremy and I met when we were in the same small group at Andrews University, but didn't get close until he moved into our shared house his final semester at school. My favorite memory would be us going swimming together and then getting McDonald's or Taco Bell while watching anime. One word that describes us: Monke. Go-to karaoke song: Livin on a prayer

Ryan Jarvis

Groomsman

I met Jeremy in university and got to know him through music during church, studio sessions, and Jacob Collier chord progression breakdowns. One of my favourite memories is him crashing on my couch cycling between “sleep of the dead” and being WIDE AWAKE finishing his project all while being hypnotized to Marianas Trench. Our friendship is nothing short of whimsical chaos — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Teddy Kim

Groomsman

I have known Jeremy for nearly 10 years, and have had the pleasure of experiencing a decade of friendship bloom with him. From young, enthusiastic praise leaders at Andrews to men helping lead our church in Queens, my favorite memory throughout all that time isn't a singular one: it's all the times doing music together, and reading each other's minds without a word spoken. That type of connection is hard to describe! But while may words fail, some bonds don't need explaining. The music speaks where we don't have to.

Logan Cheong

Bible Boy

Meet Logan — our little Lego master and big-hearted adventurer! He can’t wait to walk down the aisle for his favorite 이모(ee-mo), who always makes holidays extra fun. This is his very special mission!

Hailey Cheong

Flower Girl

Tiny but mighty, here comes Hailey! She was once a newborn in her aunt(Ja Young)’s arms, and now she’s ready to sprinkle petals (and a bit of chaos) with every wobbly step. Cutest little flower in the bunch!
