Pueblo has a zoo for you to tour if you would like. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a big zoo. It is located in Colorado Springs, which is further away from Pueblo, but it's worth the drive. There are places to eat there and if you are planning on getting tickets in advance, check their website for availability. Their hours are 9am to 5pm.
For the history buffs!! The Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum was one of the major bomber training fields for pilots and crews during WWII. The Museum houses aircrafts from that time and pays tribute to those who served on the base during that time and the Pueblo community that supported it. If you are thinking of going on a little hike or family day, Garden of the Gods is the perfect place to go! It is FREE to tour around, and you have options to park and walk through to take photos, drive through or even ride segway's and go horseback riding through the National Park.
