COVID-19

Well, this sucks

Due to unforseen circumstances, we will likely only be able to host immediate family and close friends for an intimate ceremony. While we were holding out hope, we unfortunately have to make a decision to forego our dream wedding that we have put so much time and energy into since December 2018. We are hoping to have a celebration once it is safe to do so!

How We Met

As Jayna was moving in to her new college apartment, Ryan had been living in Corpus Christi attending TAMUCC for a couple years already. Little did they know, they would meet that very night. Through many college events and parties, they became friends. After graduation (Fall 2013 for Ryan, Spring 2014 for Jayna), they continued to stay in touch through the years, mostly thanks to Facebook. After reminiscing over college years and having a fun time at Alumni Weekend, Jayna and Ryan continued to keep in touch. Soon, a teaching conference brought Jayna to Kemah where the only person she knew was Ryan, so she reached out to see if he wanted to meet up and hang out (just as friends), but over time the two grew inseparable and after a year of long distance and many miles back and forth on 59, Jayna made the move from Cuero to Galveston to be closer to Ryan. From here, their love grew, and in December 2018, Ryan proposed to Jayna in Wimberley with the backdrop of a beautiful waterfall. Their wedding will be in El Campo, Texas on April 4, 2020.
