Let’s take a walk down memory lane - the Jaymie version. November of 2016, I was a newly turned 19 year old navigating my way through the start of my freshman year of college. Some friends (aka Megan Ringley) convinced me to create a Tinder account because it was cool and fun and spontaneous and what else was I supposed to do between classes and homework and late nights at DPub. Lo and behold, Austin (a senior in college at the time) happened to be on Tinder as well. We both eventually “swiped right” on each other and he grew the courage to send me a message that I kindly ignored. He must’ve known I was the one or something because he double messaged me to the point where I had nothing to lose if I chose to entertain this young, handsome fool. He ~quickly~ swept me off my feet through weeks of messaging and we continued this thing we had going on and now, fast forward nearly 7 years we own a home together, have 3 crazy dogs, and have built a life together that we are both very proud of. Neither of us are from Cincinnati, (go Browns…. or Ravens for Austy) so to find someone who loves this city as much as I do was definitely a perk. Let’s get MARRIED! 🥰
