How We Met
July 2016
We matched with each other on Tinder and Courtney made the first move to message Jay. From there we ended up having our first "date" at Enger Tower.
The Proposal
July 31, 2020
It was our 4 year dating anniversary. We went to Va Bene, our favorite restaurant in town. Jay made a reservation for their lakeside outdoor seating which was beautiful. We went through dinner as normal but then Jay initiated taking pictures with me which is highly out of character for him. Once he had asked for a retake, which was suspicious since Courtney approved of the first picture, Courtney noticed Jay moving his hand and the rest is history.
