We met through a mutual friend before we both started working at Camp Barnabas in the summer of 2017. Spending hours together before leaving for camp made it clear that we were interested in moving forward in our relationship. Since Jayme was Trey's boss at camp, we decided to wait before making it "official". On July 17th, 2017 we did make it (finally) official - yay! When we get married, we will have been dating for almost 3 years.

Trey secretly planned the proposal for months! Two friends came into town (Sam & Ryan Blake) and we split up for the day for some quality girl and guy time. While Sam was distracting Jayme all day, Trey and Ryan (and many others) were preparing a beautiful backdrop and party on Jayme's parents property. Trey asked close friends and immediate family members to be part of the proposal by holding signs along the long driveway leading to where he stood as Sam and Jayme drove up. Trey was crying before Jayme even arrived! As soon as Trey popped the question, Jayme said yes immediately!
