On September 26th, 2023, Jayme and Larice were working at the Doubletree. Jayme was talking to some of her co-workers and casually pointed out how one of the cooks in the kitchen was very sweet and good looking. One of the co-workers named Lisa decided to take matters into her own hands and informed the cook (Larice) of their conversation. However, if Larice was telling the story, he would say Jayme was scared to approach him and sent Lisa. Lisa went to the kitchen and told Larice that someone had a crush on him and that she was shy. Larice told Lisa, " tell the honey drop to put her digits on this here paper." After an hour she came back with the paper and when Larice saw her name, he knew just who she was! He texted her right away. Later on that week, they went on their first date. A couple days later, Larice saw Jayme’s mother at the Doubletree. He told her mother, “I’m gonna marry her!” She had no idea who Larice was. Larice told her again. He added, “you’re gonna see more of me!” As you can see, he meant every word of it!

Thanksgiving Day started with Brunch at the Campbells' house. We started the festivities by sharing what we were all thankful for before enjoying the delicious food they served. Later, Larice's family came down from New York to share their first Thanksgiving with Jayme's family. We spent all day cooking to take food over to Alexander's house. We arrived over two-and-a half hours late, and folks were ready to eat. We all got together to pray, and when Mr. Wes was done, he asked people to go around to say what they were thankful for. Everyone was moaning, “We did this already!” When it was Larice's turn, he began telling everyone how thankful he was to have Jayme in his life and how much he was in love with her. Jayme kept cutting him off. "Larice okay." "Larice, we get it." "Larice alright." "Larice you said this already." Every time she cut him off, he started his speech again. Finally, he got down on one knee and popped the question. Jayme finally shut up, she was speechless.... Glory to God!
