We’re getting married!

It was meant to be at sea! In May of 2017, our lives changed forever when we each boarded a Carnival cruise, unaware that destiny had something beautiful in store for us. It was on one fateful evening, when our paths crossed for the first time on the last boat back to our cruise ship in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. From that moment on, the universe seemed to conspire to keep us together. We explored that grand ship, laughing and sharing stories, quickly becoming inseparable. Our first date on that cruise was magical, a moment filled with undeniable chemistry and an unmistakable connection. We knew it was true love. Later that same year, as our love blossomed, I took a leap of faith and moved states. Jacob, with his heart full of love and dreams for our future, asked me to move in with him. It felt like love was in the air, wrapping us in its warm embrace. Soon after, we received the most wonderful news—we were expecting a precious baby! In September, our beautiful daughter, Jaylah Niana Mascardo, graced our lives, filling our hearts with immeasurable joy. That year was a whirlwind of blessings, culminating in the purchase of our first home, a sanctuary for our growing family. As my birthday approached, we decided to embark on our second cruise, a celebration under the sun and stars. Little did I know that this trip would hold yet another surprise! Jacob got down on one knee and proposed unexpectedly. It was a moment that felt like a scene from a fairy tale, and I said yes, with tears of joy in my eyes. And now, we’re taking this incredible journey one step further; we’re getting married on a cruise, surrounded by the beauty of the sea that brought us together!
