One of the COOLEST places you'll ever go go-karting. Sitting next to the real Grand Prix Circuit is a smaller exact replica for go-karting, overlooking the ocean. A big favourite for the Emery boys and Ian Campbell - if you want to see their competitive sides come out, go here.
Being from Canada, I had never seen penguins in the wild before, so I highly suggest the Canadians check this out one night. Thousands upon thousands of fairy penguins swim back to shore every sunset to their colony here on Phillip Island. They walk around the boardwalk below your feet - a very unique experience you can't find anywhere else!
A really great Australian animal park right on the drive between Melb and the island if you want to get up close & personal with koalas and kangaroos. Book ahead if you want to do the koala encounter!
We've never been here, but for the Canadians, this may be a place worth seeing on your trip down under - meet koalas!
Our fave spot for coffee and brekky in Cowes! There are plenty of other great spots too for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Note for the Canadians, hotels are pubs. Aka a restaurant and bar. Dinner at an Aussie pub is a must while in Australia! Parmas are a classic if you haven't had one yet.
Every tourist needs to go to a wildlife sanctuary on their trip to Australia to meet all the classic Aussie animals, and this place is right on Phillip Island. We haven't been to this one, but its handy if you want to see some local animals. An alternative wildlife park is Maru which you'll drive by on the way to the island!
Location of our wedding!
