When is the wedding?

The wedding will take place on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 6:00 PM.

Where is the wedding?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Brazilian Room, located in Tilden Regional Park at 1500 Wildcat Canyon Road, Berkeley, CA 94708. The ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by an indoor reception at the same venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. The ceremony will be outdoors, and October evenings in Berkeley can get chilly, so we recommend bringing a light layer. The bride and groom kindly request that guests avoid wearing red, white, or beige/sand, as these colors are reserved for the bride and groom!

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is more than enough and truly means the world to us. If you wish to give a gift, red envelopes or cards are welcome. A card box will be available at the venue for your convenience. The couple kindly requests no boxed gifts.

If I want to mail something or write a check, what names should I use?

Answer

Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness! For mailing or checks, please use Tzu-Ching Lin or Chia Chen Hsiao.

Answer

Yes, there is guest parking available at the Brazilian Room.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, surrounded by the natural beauty of Tilden Park. The reception dinner will be held indoors at the Brazilian Room.

What kind of dinner will be served?

Answer

A plated dinner will be served. You’ll be able to select your meal when you RSVP. If you have any dietary restrictions the couple may not be aware of, please let them know as soon as possible so they can make arrangements.

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?

Answer

No, there will not be alcohol served at the wedding. There will be a variety of non-alcoholic drinks available.

Are there any other events happening that weekend?

Answer

There are no additional wedding-related events planned. Guests are encouraged to enjoy their time exploring the Bay Area.
