We'll have our ceremony at the outdoor education facility on Bainbridge Island, IslandWood. https://islandwood.org/
We would love to have folks arrive by Friday, October 22. We are planning a few group dinners and outings to explore the area.
The tentative weekend schedule will be sent out in late summer.
We will continue to update the page, Travel, with suggested accommodations. We are encouraging folks to buddy up and co-plan travel.
Yes! We are providing childcare the day of the ceremony (Sunday, October 24) onsite at the venue. We will likely have children in the art room with plenty of creative and fun activities and a few outdoor adventures on the nature trails.
Our venue, IslandWood, is an education facility. As such, they are going above and beyond with their safety measures (it's one reason why we chose the site!). Please know that guests will likely be asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing, depending on the state of the pandemic by October. We ask that you take your personal measures to travel safely. Additionally, you may be asked to adjust your plans. We are committed to your safety and will over-communicate any changes to our plan.
Yes. We are asking everyone to get tested before they travel.
We are expecting around 70 guests. If the state issues a cap on social gatherings we will limit guests to just our immediate family.
The attire for the wedding is outdoor chic. Be ready for some good Pacific NW weather and pack your raincoat and umbrella. The wedding and reception will both be outdoors.
