No. 1. The church is not walking distance from the reception venue. HOWEVER, we WILL be providing transportation from the hotel to the church and back to ease the commute. The hotels do exist in the downtown area, only 1-2 blocks from the State House. As a result, parking can be a challenge, and we do not want this to become a headache for anyone. Please feel free to use our provided transportation. 2. The Welcome Party Friday night is 5-6 blocks away from the hotels. It is a nice leisurely walk through the downtown area that takes 17-20 minutes. However, we will ALSO have transportation that night as well to ease the burden for anyone not wishing to walk 5-6 blocks.
This means tuxedos, formal suits, evening gowns, and long dresses.
Yes and no. You may bring your child to the wedding ceremony. However, unfortunately, they are not welcome at the cocktail hour and reception. It is an indoor formal event, and there is a fire code for the building to which we must adhere. This would not be possible if children were welcome at these 2 events.
