Man of Honor
Justin is my older brother and one of my very best friends. He’s always looking out for me, always there when I need him, and might be the only Boyles to make it through this wedding day without crying. He’s not one for mushy speeches, so I’ll keep it short: he’s taken his Man of Honor duties very seriously and I couldn’t imagine doing this without him.
Best Man
Mike is Shawn’s dad and the kind of person you can always count on. He's steady, loyal, and hardworking. He’s taught Shawn a lot about what it means to be a good man, and it’s easy to see where Shawn gets his big heart and strong sense of responsibility. We’re so happy he’s standing beside his son as Best Man.
Bridesmaid
Allie has always felt more like a sister than a cousin. When I was a teenager, she was the older cousin I thought had the best taste in everything, letting me listen to music I probably shouldn’t, giving advice, and making me laugh when I needed it most. These days she’s a wonderful mom, but still the same cool and caring Allie I’ve always looked up to.
Groomsman
Michael and Shawn have been friends since high school which means lots of great memories. Back in the day, the two of them would hit the golf course first thing in the morning, usually after a night out, which made for some questionable swings and a lot of laughs. These days, Michael is a proud dad of two, and Shawn might love his kids even more than he loves Michael. Either way, their friendship has stood the test of time.
Bridesmaid
Megan is Shawn’s sister, but I’m so excited to call her my sister now too. She’s smart, hardworking, and somehow always finds time for the people she loves. We’ve bonded over countless tailgates and concerts (especially now that Shawn tries to bail on them). Neither of us had a sister before, so this feels like the perfect upgrade.
Groomsman
Trey and Shawn grew up together causing mild chaos around Stedman. From backyard sports to questionable adventures, they’ve always found ways to keep life interesting. These days, they mostly stick to watching sports and sampling bourbon (no bottle is safe when they're around). They’ve got the kind of friendship that doesn’t need much—just a game, a drink, and a shared sense of humor.
Officiant
Forrest is my younger brother and our officiant. He’s thoughtful, reliable, and never fails to lighten the mood. Even in the middle of his freshman year at UNC Wilmington, he’s making time to help us with such an important role. Fun fact: the night before Shawn proposed to me, he actually practiced on Forrest, which makes him a special part of our story from the very beginning.
Ring Bearer Crew
Lawson is my youngest brother, and Goose is our lab, and together they make quite the pair. Lawson keeps us on our toes with his quick wit and big personality, and he’s always working hard (usually with some kind of payment in mind). He’s walking Goose down the aisle, and while he’ll usually do anything for the right bribe, we know this job comes straight from the heart.
