Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Zoe Ragland-Haines and Jaylon Thomas
Although we may be a little biased, Baltimore is truly one of the best cities on the East Coast. Take some time to explore the food, history, and neighborhoods that make Charm City so special. Here are a few of our favorite spots.
Baltimore Inner Harbor

Baltimore Inner Harbor

Baltimore, MD

If you only have a little time in Baltimore, the Inner Harbor is the place to be. Waterfront views, great food, the National Aquarium, and plenty to explore all within walking distance. It's the perfect introduction to Charm City.

Fells Point Waterfront

Fells Point Waterfront

Baltimore, MD 21231

One of Baltimore's oldest neighborhoods and a must-visit. Fells Point has cobblestone streets, waterfront views, great local restaurants, and plenty of shops to browse. Set aside a few hours and just wander. Don't forget to stop by Thames Street Oyster House for some Maryland steamed crabs, you won't regret it!

Baltimore Museum of Art

Baltimore Museum of Art

10 Art Museum Drive, Baltimore, MD 21218

The Baltimore Museum of Art is home to one of the most impressive art collections on the East Coast, including the largest collection of Henri Matisse works in the world. The best part? Admission is completely free. It's a great way to spend a morning or afternoon and is larger than you'd expect!

The Walters Art Museum

The Walters Art Museum

600 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201

The Walters Art Museum in Mount Vernon is one of those hidden gems that even a lot of locals don't fully appreciate. The collection spans thousands of years across nearly every corner of the world, from ancient Egyptian artifacts to medieval armor to Renaissance paintings. Admission is free and the building itself is beautiful. It's absolutely worth a visit.

Hampden Neighborhood/ 36th Street

Hampden Neighborhood/ 36th Street

Baltimore, MD 21211

Hampden is our favorite neighborhood in the city and we always find ourselves coming back. The Avenue is lined with local shops, great food, and the kind of laid back energy that makes Baltimore so special. If you want to see the city the way locals do, this is the place to go.

Lexington Market

Lexington Market

112 North Eutaw Street, Baltimore, MD 21201

Lexington Market has been a Baltimore staple since 1782, making it one of the oldest public markets in the country. It recently went through a full renovation and the new space is bright, modern, and packed with local vendors selling everything from fresh seafood to baked goods to international food. It's a great spot to grab a casual lunch and get a real taste of the city.

Little Italy

Little Italy

Baltimore, MD

Little Italy is one of those neighborhoods that just feels special. Small, walkable, and full of great restaurants. Our top pick is Chiapparelli's, a Baltimore institution since 1949. Zoe's family has been going for years and it's easy to see why. Classic Italian food, generous portions, and the kind of cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay for one more glass of wine. Make a reservation before you go, or try Amicci's next door instead!

Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon

Baltimore, MD

Mount Vernon is one of Baltimore's most beautiful neighborhoods and a great place to spend an afternoon. The architecture alone is worth the visit, with stunning historic townhouses and the Washington Monument at the center of it all. The neighborhood is also home to the Walters Art Museum, some of the best restaurants in the city, and a general energy that feels cultured and walkable. If you want to see a different and more elegant side of Baltimore, this is it.
