Please note, if you plan to leave your car in the Orangery car park overnight, it will need to be collected by 10am on Saturday 13th September.

Question

Do you recommend any hotels nearby?

Answer

We've put together a list of hotels on the website, please see the 'Hotels & Taxis' tab.

Question

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

We hope to have our ceremony outside on a grassy area. However, this will be weather dependent. The Orangery has lovely outside grounds but also equally lovely inside garden room, which will be our back up option for our ceremony in case of bad weather. We recommend checking the weather forecast the day before travelling for the wedding and packing an umbrella so you can still enjoy the scenery even if there's risks of rain showers!

Question

How do I RSVP and by what date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP with your attendance status and meal preferences/dietary requirements via email or text by 24th April 2025 at the latest.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

The best gift of all is having you share our special day with us, but should you wish to gift us, we'd greatly appreciate a contribution towards our new home or our honeymoon!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no colour scheme but we recommend formal attire and comfortable shoes.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be a generous tab behind the bar that can be used for a selection of drinks. After the tab limit has been reached, the bar will become a cash bar (pay per drink). Please note, complimentary drinks (alcohol and non-alcoholic) will be served after the ceremony. Wine and fruit juice will be served with the wedding breakfast and free drink prizes will be there to be won throughout the day/evening!

Question

Will there be food and drinks provided for children?

Answer

A special children's menu will be served with the wedding breakfast for children aged 2 years and above. High chairs for infants can be arranged - please let us know in advance if you will need a high chair provided. Free soft drinks for children (squash/juice) will be available during the reception.
